Due to forecast high winds and rain, we have made the hard decision to postpone the Omaui Camp Open Day. Please watch this space for a new date.

Join us as we open the gate, the doors and the flying fox at Omaui Camp!
An awesome community day out, including the chance to
- try our awesome outdoor adventure activities
- check out the brand new onsite track and reinstated pond (thanks to the team at the Rotary Club of Invercargill)
- have a go at some environmental activities and see our new resource
- check out the camp building
- and more!
This is a great opportunity to see all of the hard work that has been happening at Omaui Camp recently. The Rotary Club of Invercargill has put countless hours into developing a new onsite walking track, planting, weeding, and more.
We’ve also developed an environmental education resource for visiting schools, with thanks to the Les Hutchins Conservation Foundation and Lloyd Esler, so you can check out the wide range of fun activities.
Thank you!
A huge amount of work has happened at and for Omaui Camo recently. We’d like to express our thanks to the Rotary Club of Invercargill, Les Hutchins Conservation Foundation, MenzShed Invercargill, ICC Parks Division, Lloyd Esler, the Department of Corrections, and the Catalytic Foundation.
