Five reasons Y a Boot Camp is for you!
The Y Boot Camp is an eight week programme to help you smash your health and fitness goals, starting September 30th.
Here are five reasons a Boot Camp is an amazing way to get and stay fit!
- You get the fun of a group but with individualised support and advice
With a boot camp you get to be part of an awesome bunch of like-minded individuals, who are all there to improve themselves. You’ll meet great people and have a lot of fun. But you also get individualised support within that group environment, including technique guidance and advice that is focused on you and your specific goals, whether that be to build muscle, lose weight, just feel better, to get started with physical activity, or a specific fitness goal. It’s an absolute win-win! - You can track your progress across a range of factors
With the Y Boot Camp you get an Evolt 360 Body Composition scan to start your journey which gives you measurements across a massive range of factors – down to the lean mass of your left arm, it’s that specific! You also get one of these at the end of the camp so you can see exact and specific progress. But we track more than that! We also track progress across strength, through time in a wall sit for example, and fitness, through your run pace. It genuinely doesn’t matter how you start, we’re there to help you progress – that’s the whole point of the eight week camp! - It allows you to mix up your training
A Boot Camp allows you to really mix up your training over a set period of time. You might be lifting weights one day, running up sand dunes another, crawling under cargo nets another day. It’s about keeping it interesting, and keeping it fun so you stay motivated – and get the gains! - There’s a start and an end
The Y Boot Camp starts Monday 30th September and it ends Saturday 23rd November. This allows you to commit for a set period of time and know what you are committed to over that period. It also means there’s an end point at which you want to achieve your goals by – a super important factor in goal setting! - You’ll get motivation and accountability
When you’re part of a group of like-minded people, who are all there to progress and achieve their own health and fitness goals, it gives you a real sense of both motivation and accountability. We know not everyone can be at every single session over an eight week period, but we also know that a group environment is super motivating and that your new friends will help to hold you accountable (in a supportive way, of course!).
